m i ENGINEER'S REPORT. The monthly report of the electrical I engineer (Mr. H. Black) reads as follows— Mangorci road.—Poles are being erected from Devon street to Rimu street and primary line run to transformer, to be Fixed at the corner of Mangorei road !and Rimu street. Poles for the line in Rimu street are not r yet to hand. . Twenty-five foot poles are required for > this. Some of the last line of poles ordered are just coming to hand, but only the longer lengths so far have been received. ■ - Maclean street.—There are no poles on ] hand for this line. Kowhai street—Poles are wanted for this line also. " Fitzroy street lighting.—A start has been made fixing arms and insulators for extending the street lighting wires to take these lights. Supplies.—The extensions in hand and { under consideration will take most of ,] the line material in stock, so it will be I advisable to procure' more wires and j cables, as they have to be indented, and ) delivery is generally from four to five | months from date of order.
