MANY YOUTHS FINED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. A laige number of young mm were l charged at the Magistrate's' Court to-day with failing to take the oath of allegiance as required by the Defence Act. Several were fined 1 40s (reducible to 6s if the case is taken in 14 days). Cases against tiwelve youths' were withdrawn because they had taken, the oath. Informations against eleyen others were adjourned to allow the oath to be taken.
