POVERTY BAY MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Nigh^. Good' weather and a good attendance greeted the Poverty Bay Turf Club's summer meeting to-day. The going was good, and the racing interesting. The tote figures were £8785, as against £7117 for the corresponding day of last year. Results:— Welter Handicap, of 60 sovs; 1 mile.— P.
