BOATS COLLIDE.

A collision occurred between the steamer Potomac, outward bound for j London with a full cargo of wheat, and ) the White Star's steamer Georgic, inward bound, in a dense fog early in the morning, whilst thirty miles east of the Cape. The Georgic noticed the Potomac crossing her bows, but too late to avoid the impact, and received a sliding blow on the port how, causing a big dent, five feet long by four feet wide. Teh Potomac had a big shallow dent high on the starboard side, to the extent of ten or twelve feet. The iron decks bulged. Both vessels came to port. A portion of the Georgic's cargo will be discharged to enable repairs' to be effected.
