INGLEWOOD NEWS.

(From Our Own Corr«Mnd«nt.) The Boy Scouts held their weekly field day on Thursday afternoon at Mr. Kennedy's farm, where they were instructed m hut building.' The, framework of a good-sized "Kaffir kraal" was erected. I his was built with saplings and supplejacks, fastened together with flax. After the framework v<w finished, the troop, in response to the kind,invitation of Mrs. Kennedy proceeded to the house and were very hospitably treated. ■On the evening of the same day the Inglewood'Swimming Glub held their annual carnival in the local swimming baths There was a very good attendance, both of spectators and competitors Ihe events and winners were as follows--Jsovice Handicap, L. The,, weather is beautifully fine at present, and, as is usual in fine weather we are wondering when 60 'me steps to njodify the dust nuisanc* will be taken by those in authority.
