Eight persons have been , illed and many fatally injured. The civic heads were locked in gaol and criminals released. Several warehouses have been burnt, and efforts, are being j made to dynamite the Customhouse to secure the Government funds which are hidden in the vaults. GOMEZ PROCLAIMED PRESIDENT. Received 2, 1.1.51 p.m. El Paso, February 2. Gomez has been proclaimed provisional, president of Mexico by the garrison, which revolted from Jaurez.
