XARROW ESCAPE OF NUNS. By Cable—t'ress Astroeiation —Copyright Received 30, 11 p.m. Paris; January 29. A fire broke out in the Convent of St. Clair at Lapuy. In order to keep the rule forbidding men to enter, the iiuns barricaded the burnhfg building against the firemen and. police. Seven aged nuns were found unconscious when the police battered down the doors. The nuns were rescued with difficulty.
