At the University Senate to-day .the music committee recommended that the Senate renew its recommendation to the Government to grant a sum of money to assist in the immediate establishment of a conservatorium of music at Auckland, and that the Senate secure a report from an expert or experts on the scheme proposed by the Auckland University College for a conservatorium of music. The report was adopted.
