/ A SUGGESTION ACCEPTED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, January 28. Mr. A. F. Hills, managing director, asked a meeting of Thames ironworkers to sacrifice half of their November advance in wages in order that the company might secure the construction of two cruisers. Twelve hundred men absented, there being only ten dissentients. The meeting was called apart from the trades' union.
