EMPIRE PICTURES. ' A good audience was again in attendance at the Empire last evening. A picture that goes with a distinctive swing from start to finish is the A.B. masterpiece, "The Primal Call." Many regu- \ lar patrons will class this as the finest dramatic subject they have viewed. An amusing scene is where the primal man, after routing his rivals, gathers the girl under one arms, tucks a stray person undoi the other, races for a boat, and pulls out to liisl steamer, where the parson performs the marriage ceremony. "The endcrloot's Ilouiid-up" is a dashing star picture of the cowboy order, iu which the tenderfoot proves a large-sized surprise e boys. The Kalem Company has excelled in ''Railroad Raiders of '1!2," sensation being supplied interesting doses. Volcanic Country" shows scenes around Vesuvius, and a Gaumont film is included of the Durbar celebrations and review of troops after the Durbar. The best of the comic section is "Rebellious .Blossom (Lubin comedy) and "An Admirer of Napoleon." The fireproof qualities oi the building are exciting favorable comment, also the quality of the musical programmes supplied by the Empire orchestra. Eor J to-morrow a complete chance of programme will be shown, including a number of amusing and interesting scenes at the East End Picnic last x hursday.
