■ WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. 1 Tin Wellington Provincial Law Tennis -ociation's tournament concluded 1 yer -:! ay. There was a large attendance. , T.ic final of the combined doubles championship was not played', and may not be finished at all. The men's championship singles final between J. C. Peacock and R. Swanston was a strenuous game, Peacock winning. The ladies' handicap doubles was won by Missies Yan S'taveren and Davis, who defeated Misses Williams and Batliam.
