He afterwards received a return visit from Mr. Taft, who was accompanied by a single aide. Mr. Bryce, British Ambassador, was also present. * The Cabinet officers were presented to the Duke, who later visited the Press Club, where he was greeted uproariously. In a short address the Duke of Connauglit said he hoped England and the United States would always be the best of friends for the good of the world.
