The Municipal Council at Solingen created a sensation by refusing to participate in rejoicings on the Kaiser's birthday, owing to the Socialist victories. INFURIATED POLISH ELECTORS. Received 28, 5.5 p.m. Berlin, January 27. Polish voters were enraged at the defeat of a compatriot, and wrecked the windows of German tradesmen at Schwetz. They severely wounded two German students.
