WEDDING BELLS. TEMPLER—THOMPSON. A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Wanganui, on Wednesday afternoon, when Mr. Guy M. Templer, son of Mr. E. C. Tempter, headmaster of Tarata school, Taranaki, was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Miss Eatie Thomson, youngest daughter of Mr. Andrew Thomson, of Wanganui. The church was very \ prettily decorated, and the ceremony, which was choral, was performed by the 1 Rev. John Ross. The bride was given j away by her father, and was attended by ■ Misses Davey and Templer. Mr. Noel Templer was best man, and Mr. W. R. G. Thomson groomsman. The choir sang suitable hymns, and as the party left the church, the organist, Mr. Sydney Butler, played Mendelsshon's "Wedding March." The guests were subsequently entertained at the residence of the bride's parents, where the usual toasts were heartily honored. Mr. and Mrs. Templer were the recipients of a large number of presents, including several from St. Paul's choir and Guild, of which organisations the .bride had been an active member for some years. Mr. and Mrs. Templer left by the' Main Trunk train for Auckland," where the honeymoon will be spent. Their home will be <at Normanby, where Mr. Templer holds the position of engineer in charge at the power-house in connection with the hydro-electric supply for the borough of Hawera.
