PROTESTANT DEFENCE.
PAPAL CENSURE RESENTED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney. January 26. The Protestant Defence Association resolved against the Papal censure over books either through the Customs, public libraries and booksellers, thus dictating to free Australians what they shall or shall not read. Another resolution urged members to support all efforts to prohibit the manufacture, importation and sale of all alcoholic liquor.
