He was standing on a damp floor, handling a live, electric lamp, when he screamed and fell .dead. Apparently a short circuit was established through his body. MANGLED BY A SHARK. Received 26, 10.20 p.m. Sydney, January 26. A youth named Morgan, while bathing in the Lane Cove river, was seized by a sharp. Two of his companions beat the monster off. Morgan was fearfully mangled, and died. POLITICAL LABOR LEAGUE. Received 27, 1 a.m. Sydney, January 26. The annual conference of the Political Labor League has been opened. The press is excluded. The president, in his opening speech, said the agenda was unlikely to give much trouble, and chiefly dealt with sane subjects. STANDARD GRAIN SACKS. Received "27, 1 a.m. Melbourne, January 26.
