A MAN ELECTROCUTED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 25, 8.55 p.m. Sydney, January 25., A man named Jones, while working an electric rock driller, was electrocuted while standing on the wet framework of the motor. The vibration caused the drill to fall across the motor form, and the current passed through Jones' body. His mate, in trying to release him, received two severe shocks. ANTIQUATED TELEPHONES. Received 20, 1 a.m. Sydney, January 25. A representative gathering of leading commercial bodies protested at the unsatisfactory telephone system, and dej mande<J sweeping and radical changes.
