Advices from Tripoli state that three battalions of Italian infantry and a small body of cavalry were heavily defeated tfhile endeavoring to recapture Sensur, westward of Tripoli, the Arabs pursuing them to the outskirts of Tripoli, expelling them from the entrenchments, where sixty Italian corpses were found. The newspaper Reichspost suggests that Italy should offer Turkey the bulk of her East African possessions in exchange for Tripoli and Cyrenaica, and so enable Turkey to conclude an honorable peace. AUSTRIAN STEAMER STOPPED. * Perim, January 24. The Italians' stopped the Austrian Lloyd steamer Bregenz. THE TURKISH PRISONERS. ' Rome, January 24. The committee of doctors who examined the Turkish prisoners are satisfled they are bona fide medical men.
