ACCOUNT OF MR.' YEAG-HR'S TRIAL. During tie month of July the "Gane" Milking Machine Co., Ltd, rewired a letter from Mr. Yeager, of Kyogie, New; South Wales, asking them if they were i willing to put in % two-cow mtUting machine oh trial for si weeks against a 'two-cow milking plant each of the following machines, namely, the'ULG., the Austral and the Jersey. It ii believed the Austral did not taks up the challenge, though other Machines competed. The trial oMamenced on August 8, an* by the 2 let the Gane Company received word that the advantages of their machine were eo apparent that Mr. Yeamr had decided to order three 12-cow plantsfrom them. One of these is already in working order, and the other two are to ba erected as soon as possible, in order that Mr. Yeager may deal with a herd of i*out one thousand cows. Mr. Yeager decided in favor of the "Gane," although from what can be leard, the price of the "Gane" was some £3OO in excess of the others.—Advt
