THE BINGARA TRAGEDY.
A MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, January 23. The Bingara tragedy is most mysterious. Ball recently returned from England, bringing a young wife. The couple were left in charge of Macks' selection, and Macks, returning a few days ago, found the house open but no one about. Search disclosed the remains of a fire in the bush and remnants of the woman's clothing, charred pelvis, leg and skull bones. A man, supposed to be Ball, visited a hotel on Tuesday night, cashed Macks' cheque, and next morning purchased a ticket for a railway station twenty miles distant. A warrant has been issued for Ball's arrest on a charge of murder. AN ARREST MADE. Received 24, 1.15 a.m. „ Sydney, January 23. It is reported that a man was arrested in Sydney to-night in connection with the Bingara tragedy.
