OBLIGING ACT LEADS TO COURT CASE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, January 21. In, the King's Bench division Mr. W,. T. Stead is suing to recover £llOO advanced to tradesmen on a bill transaction to oblige Princess Wiasomsky. Mr. Stead made her acquaintance through the Dowager Empress of Russia at the Hague Conference. The transaction arose through renting a house at Dulwich. Mr. Stead already has a judgment for £7OOO against the Princess, and held security' in connection with the present advance, but returned it to oblige lier.
