UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS. TARANAKI PASSES. ' By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The results of the junior university scholarship examination are to hand. The following New Plymouth and Stratford candidates passed the matriculation and solicitors' general (knowledge examination on the scholarship papers:— New Plymouth: N. Little, 2331; R. Adlam, 1903; C. Day, 1773.' Stratford: L. Mail, 2178; Fanny Sherlock, 1934. The following are the ten highest junior university scholarships:—Natalie Allan, Wellington, 3785; Arthur Ponder, Christchurch, 3773; Beatrice Bell, Auckland, 3716; Cyril Lennard, Wanganui, 3683; John Tait, Dunedin,, 3671; Athol Hudson, Waitaki, 3630; William Stevens. Auckland, 3614; Edward Neale, 3601; Martin O'Shea, Dunedin, 3504;. Alex. I Aitken, Dunedin, 3562.
