SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— Strong and squally westerly and southerly winds blew last night, and heavy showers fell in parts, but the directions are variable to-day, and except on the West Coast and southernmost districts the weather has improved. The barometer rose last night, but has fallen in the south again to-day.
