DOMINION AUTONOMY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christehurch, Last Night. Colonel Fisher, finance secretary of the Salvation Army in Australasia, has arrived in Christehurch to make arrangements in connection with the reorganisation of the Army in New Zealand. CoJ. Fisher states that under the old arrangement the Dominion had. only two headquarters, one at Wellington and one at Christehurch. Under the new system) however, New Zealand would be divided into four provinces, with headquarters, in each chief centre. This alteration has been brought about preparatory. to a greater change, when a commissioner will take over the control of the whole work in New Zealand. Hitherto the officer in change in New Zealand has been responsible to the Australasian headquarters at Melbourne, but under the new scheme New Zealand will be autonomous and responsible to the headquarters in London. Col. Fisher leaves for the north tomorrow night.. i
