The Government announces that a Bill is to be brought forward conferring on women the suffrage and admitting their eligibility to Parliament.
A GOLD RUSH. Received 17, 11 p.m. Ottawa, January 17.
Numerous nuggets of gold being found in fowls fed on a farm near Minitonas, the whole population of the village stampeded to stake claims. It is believed the amounts of gold are not large.
