WIRELESS.

ALLEGED INFRINGEMENT OF MARCONI PATENTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 17, 12.40 a.m. Melbourne, January 16. The Australian agent of the Marconi Company has issued a writ against the Huddart Parker Company, claiming an infringement of the Marconi patents on Bhips in Victorian waters by using the telefunker. The agent stated his instructions to issue a writ were received from Great Britain.

Similar action will be taken in New Zealand against the Huddart-Parker Co. and the New Zealand Government.

Mr. Fisk, the agent, referring to statements regarding Marconi's action against Siemens Bros., said an action was commenced for infringement of only one patent. This was withdrawn in order to institute a fresh action, now proceeding.
