The Magisterial enquiry into the circumstances surrounding the wreck of the Jane Douglas will be held at Nelson to-day. Captain Grey (Wellington) and Captain McNab (Nelson) have been appointed nautical assessors. WATERSIDE WORKERS' CONFERENCE. Napier, Saturday. The conference between the waterside workers and employers sat all day yesterday considering the men's demands. Ultimately a sub-committee of each side was appointed to frame recommendations to be submitted to a general meeting next week.
