PROPOSAL FOR VISIT OF ENGLISH TEAM. By Oable—Priss Association—Copyright Sydney, January 12. The Tennis Association has decided to offer Wallis Myers half the profits of the tour of the tennis team with a guarantee of £4OO, and to inform him that he might extend the tour to New Zealand. The offer is subject to the team coming with the sanction of the English Association. NEW PLYMOUTH v. FITZROY. A match was played on the Fitzroy courts on Saturday between members of the above clubs, and resulted in a win for New Plymouth by 121 to 77.
