CARRINGTON ! iROAD. >; I The cricket competitions were resumed J yesterday, when New Plymouth met Oarrington Road on the .Recreation Grounds, and, going in first, put up the useful score of 225, despite the fact that Ca'rrinsrton Road tried no less than eight bowlers, of whom Gwillim, with four for 48, was the most successful. Lash 43, Whittle 41, Ingram 40, Morey 26, Legg 15 and extras 29 produced the 'bulk of the runs. Carrington Road at call of time had lost five wickets for 72.
