SUFFRAGETTE MARTYRS.
A STIFF SENTENCE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, January 10. Emily Davidson, who was arrested on December 24 for placing lighted rags m letter-boxes has been sentenced to six months' imprisonment. The prisoner asserted that her conduct was by way of protest against the injuries to women during the riots. Three of them, she said, were dead.
