A FATAL AVALANCHE. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright New York, January 10. At Kalispell, Montana, an avalanche swept a rotary snow plough off the track down the mountain side. The Great' Northern Railway superintendent and three men were buried. The superintendent and one of the men were rescued, and search is being made for the bodies of the other two. TRAIN BLOWN OFF THE TRACK. Ottawa, January 10. Tremendous gales arc sweeping the eastern Canadian coast. An express train was blown off the track in Newfoundland while the snow banks were being cleared before it by the biiow plough. The New Brunswick is suffering severely, the new breakwater in the upper harbor having been wrecked.
