Eight were killed by the explosion of a mould of molten bronze at Angouleme gun foundry, owing to escaping gases. Three of the bodies have not been discovered. They were engulfed in liquid metal weighing 77,000 pounds. DUEL BETWEEN SCHOOL BOYS. Berlin, January 9. j As the result of a quarrel over a girl of thirteen, two schoolboys, aged seventeen, arranged a duel with pistols in a wood at Detmoid.
