MT. MORGAN MINE.

HALF-YEARLY REPORT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. ! ' Sydney; 1 January 9. The half-yearly report of the Mt. Morgan Mine states that the total revenue was £452,336, and the expenditure £381,730. • During the half-year 179>177 • tons of ore, including 43,131 tons of basic ore from Many Peaks, was treated, producing 3698 tons copper and 63,197 ounces gold. The report proposes a dividend of Is per share, allows £24,000 for depreciation, and carries £2IBB forward. The previous report stated that when ore from Many Peaks was available there would be a larger production of blister copper, and the cost of treatment would be substantially reduced. These anticipations have not been realised. One difficulty is the insufficient power of the plant, which disability is being removed.
