The North Taranaki Dairy Company (Onacro) put up'their record last moiith'. The milk received amounted to 1,192,910 lb, an increase in supply of 107,7271b on the previous record, which was in December,' 1910. The amount of butter produced was a shade over 25 tons, as against' 23 tons 8 cwt, the increase being 1 ton 12% cwt. The riiarvellous strides this company has made in five years is shown by the fact that in 1906 the whole output for the year was only 38'/2 tons,' 60 that now in one month alone within. 13 tons is being made of what at; btie time was a season's make. Suppliers receive for their December 1911 supply £1959 19s Bd, whilst in 1906 the whole year's payments amounted to only £2592 12s Id, so that in one month of 1911 they receive within £032 12s 5d of a 1 whole year's payment of 1906. Truly the district has improved wonderfully, and great credit is due to those who have stuck to the factory during its poor seasons and enabled it to reach the position it occupies to-day. One supplier receives £lO7 4s Hid'for his milk, and another £l2l 15s 7d .
