OLD MAN'S SUICIDE, Dunedin, Last Night. A man named George Horton, aged 71 years, was found this afternoon hanging by the neck at the rear of his residence in Castle street. He was_ then dead. Apparently it,is a case of suicide. BODY RECOVERED. Auckland, Last, Night. The body of William Andrews, who was drowned on Christmas Day while crossing the Ongarue river when ih flood, in a Maori canoe, has been recovered. j The deceased had been employed on railway construction works.
