By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington* Last Night. The Rifle Association's first annual prize meeting wasi. concluded at Trentham to-day. It rimed heavily throughout the morning, )>ut cleared up at noon. A tricky wind prevailed throughout the whole day, and was the cause of many well-known marksmen catching up at the bng ranges. TVi Champion Teams Match was won by the Suburbs Club No. 1 team with a scor ■ of 455, Kftrori's No. 1 team being second with 44ftj Opaki No. 1 team and representative M Chrlstchurch Rifle Club tied for third place, but the shoot-off resulted in a win for the Opaki men. Rifleman J. Given (Suburbs Club) won Match No. 4 (SOOydsh Rifleman C, Whiteman (Suburbs) winning Match No. 5 (900 yds), and 1 Rifleman'A. France (Karori) Match No. 6 (1000 yds). The championship aggregate was won : by Rifleman J. W. Milroy (Nelson) after shooting off with Rifleman Loveday (Woodville). The latter man was beaten by one point. The tyro aggregate was in favor of Rifleman Evans (Suburbs.), and Rifleman Loveday (Woodville) won the long range aggregate.
