A CORRECTION.
To the Editor. Sir,—While extremely obliged for insertion of my "retrospective" communication in this morning's paper, I might be permitted to mention three slight errors in the nomenclature. ' Mr. Maximilian Ring should be Mr. M. King, since, I think, Mayor of Hawera; Mr. Crompton, not Compton, the father of the late Mrs. Percy Smith, was Speaker of the Provincial Council; and Mr. Langham, senr., should be Mr. Langman, senr., who, I think, celebrated his diamond wedding recently and is still residing at Westown.—l am, etc., C.W.W. December 28, 1911.
