CRICKET
North Taranaki will play a match against South Taranaki on the Recreation Grounds on New Year's Day, commencing at 1 p.m., and continuing next day at 11 a.m. The local team has been somewhat altered and should give a bettea- account of itself than was the case last week. The following will represent North Taranaki:—Elliott, Weston, Perliam, Gwillim, Matthews, Bain, Arden Gudgeon, Dinniss, Ha-sell, Osborne. The visitors will arrive by train on Monday morning.
