DRINK AND CRIME
WEST AUSTRALIAN POLICE REPORT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Perth, December 29. The Police Commissioner's annual report states that there is an alarming increase of crime due to drink. The report states that 53 per cent, of all offences committed arose from drink, compared with 47 per cent, in the previous year. He urges more drastic licensing laws.
