PICTURE PALACE TRAGEDY

By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, December 28. Three children injured during the fire in a picture palace at Chesterfield succumbed. Twenty others were removed to the hospital. The first child ablaze rushed about the room igniting others. One was seriously burned while endeavoring to extinguish the flames. Children ablaze struggled down a narrow stairway into the street, where the crowd extinguished the flames. Received 2fl. 10.10 p.m. London, December 29. JEALOUSY AND VITROL. Bucharest, December 28. In a fit of jealousy Bodnarcscoul. a cavalry officer, threw vitrol over Chinina Ciaeomo, the prima donna, burning her face and neck. The police pursued Bodnareseonl. who killed a policeman and two pedestrians. He then committed suicide.
