BOILER TUBES DEFECTIVE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 30, 1.10 a.m. Sydney, December 20. , Serious defects are reported in the boiler tubes of the cruiser Prometheus, which recently left for China. She reached Port Darwin after an exciting trip through Torres Straits.
