SHIPBUILDING RECORDS.
BRITISH YARDS HAVE A BUSY YEAR. By Cable—Press Association—Copyfight. London, December 25. Two hundred and ninety vessels, with a tonnage of 1,074,019, were launched at the North-east Coast building yards during 1011, establishing a record. The output at the Clyde yards was 403 vessels—also a record.
