Tho Senate referred the Moroccan agreement to a special committee. Tho oourtmartial exonerated the Liberie officers, though Captain Jaures and Commander Joubcrt's action in absenting themselves from the vessel was irregular. The eonrtmartial eulogised the gallantry of Litin, Goanier and Bignon, members of the crew.
