NEW WHITE STAR LINERS. It is announced that the Australian fleet of the White Star Line is to be shortly augmented by the addition of steamers of 18,000 tons register. These ■ vessels will be of the type of the Suevic and Runic, but, of course, greatly improved, and the travelling public will doubtless fully realise the great advantages to be derived in patronising these vessels, having regard to the popularity of the vessels now in the trade. The advent of the new tonnage will mark a further era in the development of Australian trade, inasmuch as these vessels will be of much larger tonnage than anything now engaged or reported as building.
