MATCHES FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Various Taranaki clubs have arranged matches during the holidays, Hawera is sending five rinks to New Plymouth on Boxing Day, and in the morning at 10.30 they will play West End, and in the afternoon at 2 New Plymouth. West End will be represented by Firth (s.), Frank Ncwall, T. Sole, R. Lee; J. D. Sole (s.), Curtis, Martin, Lobb; Johnson (s.), Lye, McQuade, F. Lee; Beal (s.), Bullot, llill, Wood; emergencies, Cornev, Haslani, Kendall and Jones. Any player unable to take part kindly notify Mr. C. X. Johnson at once. The following will represent the New Plymouth Club: H. Goldwatcr, Luscombe, Penn, H. Smart (s.); Fraser, Watkins, Medley, A. K. Smart (s.); C. Rundle, W.. Morey, McKellar, S. Bundle (s.) ; Morrison, Govett, Ewing, Hall (s.); Broughton, Mills, llrey, Burgess (s.). The match between New Plymouth and West End. postponed from Thursday, will be played on Wednesday next, commencing at 2 p.m.. on the town green. The following rinks will represent New Plymouth: Morrison, Penn, Burgess, H. Smart (s.); Fraser, Fookes, Medley, A. K, Smart (a.): H. Goldwatcr, McKellar, Hall, S.
