THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office issues the following weather summary and forecast: —Barometric pressure has decreased everywhere, and rain has fallen in most parts •of the country, strong northerly ■winds predominating. Present indications are for changeable and showery weather generally, strong westerly winds prevailing northward of Westport and Eaikonra, and easterly and southerly winds elsewhere. The barometer is very unsteady, but is due to rise shortly everywhere.
