THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— The weather has improved to-day, proving warmer and finer. The winds have backed by west to north in many parts and are of moderate force at present. The barometer .rose during the night, bat has now a falling tendency. Present indications are for freshening northerly wiads generally, with a falling barometer everywhere. A short disturbance is likely to pass over the country soon, bringing ■{Dally, showery, and changeable weather for about thirty-six hours. Low pressure is due in the south to-morrow, after which the winds will change to the south.
