The lonic report* that oa rounding Cope Horn, Mrs. Kate HaTe, a widow, of New Zealand, in a sudden frenzy, flung her mother, Mrs. Ilerdman, to the deck, and vaulted overboard. Her skirts kept Mrs. Hare afloat until the lifeboat rescued her, but she died afterwards.
