A committeo was appointed to draft the constitution of the council. In view of the opinions expressed it appeared that New Zealand did not desire inclusion in the council. CONFERENCE IN SYDNEY. A conference adopted the recommendations in favor of securing uniformity in the appointment and 'examination of referees, and the securing of a visit from an English team. The conference adjourned till Thursday, when the committee presents a report on the proposed Australian council control. New Zealand' standing separate.
