THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following weather summary and forecast: —A cyclonic disturbance has overspread the Dominion, and rain has fallen generally. Snow is also reported on the higher levels in the south, and westerly gales are reported in the northern districts, and strong southerly winds elsewhere. Present indications are for cold and changeable weather. Rain is probable generally, and a rising barometer «verywhere. High westerly winds, veering to southerly, northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and strong south«asterlies and southeriies elsewhere.
